Create an independent draft
Use Edit a copy on an eligible pattern. Your new draft has a new project ID and does not change the original creator’s work. The source record travels with an account remix.
Make a meaningful change
Try a new silhouette, arrangement, or palette. Use selections and symmetry to explore variations. A near-identical shape may remain available by link while being excluded from search indexing.
Publish with attribution
Choose Remix as the source when publishing an attributed copy. A CC BY source cannot be relabeled CC0. Add a description explaining what you changed instead of repeating the original title.
Keep a backup
Export your editable project JSON before large changes. Pro cloud projects additionally keep 30 days of saved revisions; restoring makes a new current revision.
